A Swanson Carmen class - 31ft built by Swarbucks in Perth.

She was a successful racing boat in the 1970's when she was raced in Sydney.

She eventually ended up in Lake Macquarie where we bought her in 1995. She was in a sorry state then and required a major re-fit. This included re-gluing the stem, re-splining the hull and re-glassing the cockpit.

The Carmen class yachts were fast sailing craft in their day and, although no longer competitive, they make great cruising boats.
